Study in the Book of Ruth

Sundays, 6:00pm

Location: Group rotates between group member’s homes, as available.   

The book of Ruth is the Narrative of a love story, yet also has some important Genealogy. Its purpose was to demonstrate the kind of love, and faithfulness that God desires for us. It shows the difference between what happens when a nation does not follow in obedience to the covenant of God (Judges), and when God’s people follow in faithfulness within the covenant (Ruth).

Navigating the Pitfalls of Life

Sundays, 6:30pm

For people who are new to CCOH in 2018/2019.  4 Weeks: Topics will include: Hearing your Story, What is a Disciple of Jesus, Marriage Insights (even if not currently married) and Pitfalls of Parenting – even after graduation!)


“Financial Peace”

Mondays, 6:00–8:15pm

Location: CCOH Church, Upstairs (Deep Creek)

Financial Peace University isn’t just about saving money or getting out of debt or building up a healthy retirement – although those items are covered in this course. The goal isn’t really about money at all. It’s about living and giving the way God designed you to.  It’s about strengthening your marriage and teaching your kids. It’s about leaving a legacy and being the change agent in your family tree. It’s basically about what to do with everything God has entrusted to you. It’s a plan.   (Workbook will need to be purchased for this class)


“Saved by Angels”

Every other Monday, 6:30-8:30pm

Saved by Angels, by Bruce Van Natta reveals how the Lord reaches out to all people in various ways, as proven through this deeply personal journey of an everyday man overcame addiction and near-death through God’s supernatural intervention. Learn the seven ways God communicates with His beloved children.


“Women’s Group”

Find the Joy of Trusting God at all Times, in all Things. Joyce Meyer’s shares, in Unshakeable TRUST, how nobody can carry the stress of everyday life alone. And you have the benefit of a loving, trustworthy God who wants you to lean on Him.  It’s time to embrace the one thing that can change your life – Unshakeable Trust in God.


“Men’s Group”

Saturdays, 8:00am

Location:  Chick Fil-A in Grassfield / 1st Sundays at CCOH

Studying the Book of Daniel.  The prophet Daniel wrote it describing the apocalyptic visions given by God, and reveals the events and plans for everyone’s future. The purpose of this book is to provide a historical account how the Lord God protected and provided for His faithful followers while in captivity. It also includes a vision of future redemption and hope.

Food & Fellowship

Saturdays, 6:00-8:30pm

Location: The Moreno home, 600 Indian Creek Road, Chesapeake (Hickory)

Some potluck/dessert with Fellowship, study and discussion. Parents and kids are welcome. There is a variety of activities for all ages.
